What this application is
Cielo ERP is a privately operated, internal business application. It connects to the company's own QuickBooks Online company accounts — read-only — to display accounting records, cross-check them against other operational systems, and flag anomalies for the company's own staff.
What data we handle
When the account owner connects a QuickBooks Online company, the application retrieves and stores copies of accounting records for that company: chart of accounts, customers, vendors, invoices, bills, payments, and journal entries. It also stores records of audit checks run against that data, such as duplicate or overdue document notices.
The application requests read-only access to QuickBooks Online (scope: com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting). It never creates, changes, or deletes data in QuickBooks or in any connected system.
Who can see the data
Access is limited to authorized members of the operating company: the account owner and invited view-only users. Each member signs in with an individual account. Uninvited or unauthenticated visitors can see nothing.
Storage and security
Stored records are kept in a managed cloud database provided by our hosting provider. QuickBooks access tokens are stored server-side and are never exposed to the browser or to individual members. Connections to QuickBooks use OAuth 2.0 over HTTPS.
Sharing
We do not sell data and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing. Data is used only to operate this application and its oversight features for the operating company.
Retention and deletion
Copies of QuickBooks records are retained while the corresponding connection remains active. If a connection is disconnected or the company asks us to remove its data, the stored copies and related records are deleted on request.
Contact
Questions, access requests, or deletion requests can be sent to the application owner through the contact address provided to Intuit during app registration.
